Disaster Relief - St. Louis
This past weekend, a devastating tornado struck the St. Louis region, causing severe damage in both St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis. More than 5,000 housing units were affected, with damages potentially exceeding $1 billion. In the City alone, hundreds of homes were completely destroyed. Many of our neighbors have been displaced and are in urgent need of support.
Since May 16, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis has been working closely with city and county officials to provide essential relief. We are addressing both immediate and long-term needs—offering healing, help, and hope to those affected, particularly in some of our community’s most impoverished areas.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to last week’s special Disaster Relief collection. As a parish, we have already raised just over $16,000. If you were unable to give, there is still time to help. Simply place your donation in an envelope marked “Disaster Relief” and drop it in the collection basket. You may also give online by clicking the link below.
Thank you for your continued generosity.
